Tilda and Co Challenge #21

This is my first time at Tilda and Co Challenge blog and the theme is 'That torn it'. Here is my card. I ripped the edges of the patterned paper and then drew on faux stitching, mounted and layed the Tilda image which was coloured in using watercolour pencils. I added ribbon with a gold clip to add some sparkle.
The backing papers are from Dovecraft, the assorted colours value pack paper and the Birthday value pack. The stamp is Tilda with cake - all of these products can be bought from Sassy Crafts. Thanks for looking.

Funky Fairys Challenge #22

This is my card for the Funky Fairys challenge, which is 'Summer'.
The stamp is Summer Tilda with hat, that I bought from Sassy Crafts. The background paper is Me and My Big Ideas, Chester range. I cut the scallop circle with my Woodware punch and doodled a little with Sakura Souffle pen.

Boyo Blue

That's the name of my Bluebell's baby :) and here is a picture of him. It's not a great one, but hopefully I'll be able to get lots more when Bluebell is feeling better.
He has a white strip along his belly, Martin said it's a shame he isn't a girl. But I'm very thankful they are both ok.

Stamping Fairies Fun Sketch #24

This is the great sketch challenge over on Stamping Fairies this week, and as I haven't used my new Inkadinkado stamp I thought I'd use it for the centre piece.

I don't know the make of the papers, but I have a few different ones like this, so I'd better start using them! This is a lovely clear stamp Noteworthy by Inkadinkado which I bought from Sassy Crafts, the middle section with the wording is separate and I was tempted to put a flower in the centre instead of the wording.

Thanks for looking.

Design team work

As you probably already know, I'm a member of the Design team for Sassy Crafts and I just wanted to share a couple of pieces of work I've made recently. The kit I received from Emma consisted of a selection of Basic Grey Sultry papers, the matching fibres and a selection of gorgeous Prima Marketing night shades satin lavender blossoms. This card I used my Magnolia stamp which I coloured in using Twinkling H2os, added a few prima flowers and I stamped the Thanks on which is made by Third Coast Stamps. This altered beer mat was kindly given to me (and quite a few more) by Rosie for my birthday. Again I used the Sultry papers to cover the beer mat attached the fibres using brads. I used my Nestabilities to mat and layer more of the gorgeous papers. Finally I added a scrummy Prima blossom and attached it to the coaster with a Dovecraft jewel brad. Fingers crossed I'll have a few more pieces this week. Thanks for looking.

Paperminutes Challenge #11

On Paperminutes challenge blog this week they have a great sketch and thankfully I'm just in time to do this challenge - leaving it till the last moment again!!

I coloured in my Magnolia stamp (from Sassy Crafts, and Emma has a delivery tomorrow of new stamps which I can't wait to get my little mits on) with water colour pencils and added a touch of Stickles on the wings.

The challenge this week over at Sea-Gals Skinnys challenge blog is jokers and/or jesters. So I had a look at images on the internet, and I can tell you, it takes an age when you're on dial up, so after a long while I gave up and picked an image which was on the screen at that time. And here it is

The backing paper is from Cherry Arte, and I've been wondering what I could use for.
